Yay! Do you like him?
It's funny I think he likes me more... I am just going to see how it goes. Can't believe this thread generated so much talk. I wonder how old all the commenters are.
It sounds like they're 60-100 years old.
You do realize that anyone aged 45-60 lived during the most promiscuous time in history probably since the fall of the Roman Empire. We wrote the book one night stands. There was no AIDS or herpes. Just the pill and bad hairstyles. We did it all. And we're just telling you some hard truths. But carry on inventing the wheel.
Herpes came on to the scene around 1977....Aids as a heterosexual disease in 1986. If you are 60 years old, you would have been 22 when then.... For me, (51), Herpes was an issue throughout my sexually active life. (1983 - pres.). The thing is, when AIDS came on the scene, no one worried about Herpes.... The "free love era" was from about about '66 to maybe 1980. As a proxy, the rate of Gonorrhea probably tracks (condom free) promiscuity. That can be seen here: http://www.cdc.gov/std/stats13/figures/11.htm So, it peaked around '76, then slowly decayed until about 1986, when the decay steepened....probably starting on Oct. 22, 1986, when C. Everett Koop changed my life by announcing that AIDS is spread by heterosexual sex. I am 51...anyone younger than me have lived with AIDS risk.... So people 60-75 are the ones that could be promiscuous without worrying about non-treatable diseases or pregnancy. I think people are as promiscuous as ever, but they use condoms.
