I'm not the poster you're attacking. For the record, I didn't make the comment about Muslima and her veil, and I don't think the poster you're attacking made it either.

There's an obvious problem with your accusation: Muslima's posts already have her pic in her veil. Yes, every single one of her posts always carries both her name and a pic of herself in her veil. Or, perhaps its a generic woman in a veil, but I'm sure many assume it's Muslima herself. So it's illogical for you to claim that somebody was asking her to post such a pic, especially against her will.

As I recall, the comment you object to didn't ask for a picture. Instead it suggested a reason why she posted her picture, namely, to garner sympathy.

Please, do carry through on your threat and post the comment about Muslima and her veil. Then we can clear this up. I'm sure I'm right.

Actually I do believe thats a generic picture. But the comment was meant to insult her for wearing it. In this society, even Muslims have great respect for nuns who also wear head coverings. I can not understand why any Muslim should be insulted or mocked for wearing hers.

All of these threads have similar insults or mockery, though. Disagreement is totally fine, insults are a different matter, such as when the poster said inheritance laws treat muslim women like children or tries to show that apostasy punishment laws are barbaric (all the while ignoring that Islam does not punish apostasy with death). The hundreds of posts are designed to malign, portray Islam as a truly evil religion. Even a simple comment saying Muslims believe in Jesus is met with a hostile reaction that we are misleading people.

Let's review. You said:
1. Someone asked her to post a picture without the veil.
When that was called a lie, you said
2. Someone asked her to post a picture with the veil.
Now you say
3. The whole thing was intended to mock.

Your first "apology" consisted of you saying you were sorry for saying *all* western women have STDs, you thought you should have just directed that at the posters on the thread. After I questioned that, you made a second, complete apology.

I think [b]your "media outlets" and everybody else should read the entire page at that link. [/b]They will see the picture in question. The will see the atheist, who is not me, responding with facts about women's divorce rights, and without any personal insults at all
M. The will see you and Muslima both insulting her, including but not limited to the STD riff. They will see the atheist, me and maybe another poster disagreeing with the poster who told Muslima that she's not American and she should stop posting. They will even see on that one page (and getting back to the point of this thread) a Muslim insisting that she was told to say Allah not God.
