660k is a high base for anesthesia - his group must be ripe for takeover by a huge corporation. All anestbesia groups pulling that in DC have already been bought, so you must be outside of DC.

Personal friends of mine.

Amga and MGMA numbers are much closer to reality, yet still underreport physician pay.

You can google for those surveys from years past, current editions are at least $1000 last I checked.[/quote]

Because a pediatrician makes about $90k to $120k.  A typical internist or family practice doctor makes $150k.  This super high salaries are in a few select us subspecialties. [/quote]
