In my case, it's because I perceive undocumented workers to be impoverished with few choices. Illegal immigrants generally also pay taxes via witholding  that they can never claim.I perceive residency cheaters to be those suburban people who make fun of DC residents for paying high taxes, and then suddenly want the services generated by those taxes without contributing anything.[/quote]
