A thread on why Muslims don't believe in Trinity must explain WHY Muslims don't believe in Trinity, no? Muslims must believe in the truth of three great faiths: judaism, christianity, and islam. Thus, the word of the Torah, Injeel, and Quran is sacred to us. Trinity is not in the Torah. Its not in the Quran. Its in the Bible only. This makes unknowing people think Christians and Muslims are in opposing camps and it makes Christians think Muslims are wrong in their belief. Gives rise to an us against them feeling. But the true injeel is in line with those original manuscripts. So this is why we reject trinity.
Trinity isn't in the Torah either yet that doesn't make Jews Muslims. You are weirdly obsessed with Trinity as the only difference between Christianity and Islam, and that's simply not the case. You can reject trinity AND Islam both, ever thought of that? Actually, what you really want to say is the "true injeel is exactly like the Quran, we are the only ones who got it right!" No one knows which manuscripts are original. It's completely possible they are ALL manmade, down to the last page.
So where did I say Christians ARE Muslims? Just as the true Christians that only followed the original manuscripts were not Muslims, Jews are also not Muslims. I said they are remarkably similar. The general message from God was the same in all three faiths. No one knows what is man made? If you go the oldest living manuscripts there is belief that it is authentic and the words of God himself through Jesus. Doesn't that hold greater validity to Christians than add ons by others later??
Belief is all you got. Not evidence. Believe in whatever you wish. But when it comes to evidence, you have no idea which manuscripts are original, only which manuscripts are older. Age does not guarantee authenticity. For kicks, I think you should ask Christians what they think the general message of their faith is, so you don't make it up for them.
So now you want to engage me in a discussion of how experts can tell the authenticity and discuss their dating techniques?
