It sounds like you think Spring Valley etc neighborhoods have a certain prestige or something and that is why you are stuck on living there. There are plenty of nice neighborhoods and many houses do come on the market in the Spring. Your children will have more friends that attend BS if you live in Forest hills, Northern Cleveland Park, Chevy Chase, and even parts of Bethesda. You should do what's best for your child and family if you are trying to become a part of a community.[/quote]
