Not the OP, but really? What's the motivation for anyone that posts and AMA thread? Why aren't you asking this on every single one of these kinds of threads?

I remember this being posted around the same time as some idiot posted the insecure post about Asians/Indian women knocking out white, blond as the "new" trophy wife.  I pretty sure OP, posted this to dispel the "trophy wife" nonsense and to point out as you've stated, this is not a rare/inscrutable/taboo pairing.

And I learned some things from this thread and I'm sure others did too.  Many posts on this off-topic forum are easily answerable with a google search, many thoughts and questions her are inane or just plain stupid, but it's the off-topic board and you don't have to click on every single post.

If you would read my post carefully, at no point did I say or even suggest that the OP should not have started this AMA. I am well aware that this is an internet forum and everyone has the right to post whatever they want, regardless of how pointless or redundant it is.

You're right that I could ask this question in any AMA, but I don't care about the motivations of other AMA posters; I'm curious about this one. That's why I asked the question here and that's why I bring up the lack of similar AMA's for other interracial couples. She said "ask me anything," so that's what I'm doing.  [/quote]
