That’s how I came to my conclusion. [/quote] I am not OP and a HS teacher. I had told students in the past they were given a fluff project up boost the grade - only when it was true . I hated those end of the year projects but lost the fight to other teachers on CT who 1) wanted to not do any teaching/grading for the month after AP exam was done and2) wanted to give everyone an easy A so that grads are fixed to make sure no students and parents would be asking for those dreadful end of the year teacher parent conferences and extra credit opportunities and whatnot No that’s how YOU are interpreting what the teacher said as relayed to you secondhand by your son. Because you don’t think it benefits your “good” kid. [/quote][/quote]
