Even though there’s another month of school, her precious little snowflake shouldn’t have to do work assigned by the teacher because she has decided it is b.s., it won’t help his grade, and it inconveniences her family’s travel plans.
The teacher basically told the kids it was a fluff project. That’s how I came to my conclusion.
I am not OP and a HS teacher. I had told students in the past they were given a fluff project up boost the grade - only when it was true . I hated those end of the year projects but lost the fight to other teachers on CT who 1) wanted to not do any teaching/grading for the month after AP exam was done and2) wanted to give everyone an easy A so that grads are fixed to make sure no students and parents would be asking for those dreadful end of the year teacher parent conferences and extra credit opportunities and whatnot
No that’s how YOU are interpreting what the teacher said as relayed to you secondhand by your son. Because you don’t think it benefits your “good” kid.

You can keep posting your nonsense but at this point you’ve been tuned out. Good day.
How do you still have time be posting here OP, I thought you and your kid had this massive fluff project that will take him hours hanging over your heads this weekend?
