DD had her first-round interviews and now she’s just waiting to hear whether she’s moving on to the next round. I can’t help but wonder if some of these “merit-based” scholarships quietly take financial need into account, even though they say they don’t. We definitely don’t qualify for need-based aid at all. I have to say, I’m really looking forward to being done with all this college talk. [/quote]
