The public comments process was going to be an unnecessarily drawn out process because all of you think your opinion adds something of value. It rarely does. It just slows down the process and creates a situation in which the many are miserable because you cannot pacify the few.[/quote] You work for a system that has for the past 15 years been doing worse and worse at educating students. And since the pandemic massive grade inflation and no real discipline leading to schools that are unsafe for kids and staff. Are you really surprised that families are frustrated and angry? Are you really trying to blame them for MCPS's glaring failures that demonstrate an utter disregard for the wellbeing of our kids?[/quote] 15 years ago... that's about the same time we started cutting per-pupil funding. Funny how that works. Maybe we'd be in a difference place for virtual if you were willing to pay taxes. But I know your summer European vacations are so important to you. And especially important to schedule for the end of June, despite the potential for school days.[/quote]
