You don’t need to have a criminal record to be detained. Per the law, all “asylum seekers” who illegally cross the border are supposed to be detained pending the resolution of their “asylum” claim. Everyone here illegally is supposed to be detained. Where did Democrats invent this absurd standard that you can live here illegally as long as you don’t commit a violent crime? That’s not the law.
