Schools are funded mainly through property taxes, which everyone pays either directly as a homeowner or indirectly as rent to a landlord who then pays the tax. It’s not like income tax where very low-income people may not have much tax burden.

So yes, all the people you look down upon are still paying their fair share for schools in this case.[/quote]
