Schools are funded mainly through property taxes, which everyone pays either directly as a homeowner or indirectly as rent to a landlord who then pays the tax. It’s not like income tax where very low-income people may not have much tax burden.
So yes, all the people you look down upon are still paying their fair share for schools in this case.

People now in our schools are moving straight from India. If you ask them, it’s their first time living here. They were brought here for a tech job (suburbs to nearby city, or some are working from home). They did arrive with an h1b
