Many of us have always used our kids’ pediatricians to diagnose and manage their ADHD meds - which is easy and efficient. Except on DCUM, I’ve never heard of people spending so much money and time on the ADHD meds process unless there are complications like a mental health co morbidity. And even when a co morbidity arose, pediatricians stayed involved and were back ups for prescriptions and getting insurance authorization.

Your privilege is showing big time. If you are relying solely on a pediatrician to manage your kid's meds for ADHD, you are either 1) not dealing with comorbidites (as you say), 2) your kid is likely not being managed well.[/quote]
