July 10, 2025 article: “New Data Shows Workers Are Mostly Ign0ring RTO Orders”
Link or at least name the paper.
This article has nothing to do with feds.. https://www.inc.com/jessica-stillman/new-data-shows-workers-are-mostly-ignoring-return-to-office-orders/91202144
Why would Feds be any different? Footnote: this link was posted multiple times but it kept getting deleted. Someone really doesn’t want the truth to get out.
Have you seen the administration we are working for? They are monitoring badge swipes and VPN connections and giving very little leeway for any situation telework. Plus they are all too happy to find a reason to fire someone for cause. From what I’ve heard from my spouse/friends in the private sector, there seems to be much less motivation to enforce, managers willing to turn a blind eye if you’re doing a good job, or ability to come in for a few hours to show your face and then go work the rest of your day at home or later that night. Not to mention overall, because feds are paid with tax dollars, we are hyper monitored and tracked. It’s hard to fully grasp the level of oversight unless you’ve worked in fed gov within the past decade as automated tracking systems get more robust and layers of review added. Which is why the whole DOGE thing was so ridiculous to begin with.
