Because California would need currency to pay for medicine.  No country is going to take some rando fiat currency from a state who tried to invent its own money.  Foreign govts where most medicines come from don't accept crypto.  Then there's no way to transfer billions of dollars to foreign countries since CA will be shut out of all global banking systems.  You think they just print cash? Lol.

And foreign countries would be wary about doing business with CA directly, because it'd be a major provocation and a declaration of war. [/quote]
