Illegal immigrants get way more out of us than we get out of them. That’s the exact reason they’re here. If all they wanted was safety then they would have stopped in Mexico or any of the other countries they passed through instead of coming here.

And no, their kids should not get free education. It’s not “free” - we pay for it. And we pay even more for illegals since their kids have much greater needs that we need to address.

Send them all back and permanently end birthright citizenship to stop the future tide of them too. Even Democratic representatives and senators will vote to end birthright citizenship since they know that’s where the vast majority of the country stands on this.[/quote]

BTW, making the topic from tax raise to immigrants does not make any sense here. If we don't like tax raise, we need to protest against it, not picking up the wars between different groups. I believe all the posts here mentioned the immigrants are trying to change people's attention from the actual tax raise. They may be the bots hired by some county board. [/quote]

Well we can’t just print money. So if you want to spend more money then you need to raise taxes to pay for it unless you’re willing to make big cuts somewhere else. How else do you think we should pay for these things?[/quote]

A county-level DOGE which will never happen because the county loves to tax endlessly and will not admit that there is any waste. And taxpayers will continue to vote for the board and pay taxes because “tHiS iS a GrEaT cOuNtY mOvE aWaY tHeN.”

Like, I can like some parts of the county while acknowledging there is likely waste that can be cut and the working families in the county shouldn’t have to shoulder endless increases. [/quote]
