Though it probably won't put them in the pool in time for the first round lottery, that [i]might[/i] provide a basis for appeal. assuming other criteria were met, especially if difficulties in implementation of virtual was documented for your DC.  That would place them in the lottery for later rounds (if any decline the invitation) and would provide a guaranteed offer of placement in AMP 7+ (or AIM, depending on which the local school has leading to Algebra in 7th).

As the PP said, even without the guarantee of central identification, additional placements in AMP 7+/AIM can be decided by the local MS based on data from the feeder ES.[/quote]
