They look at a lot of factors, including legacy status, whether they’re coming from a Catholic k-8, etc. DS did not attend a Catholic k-8, although we are Catholic and are active members of our Parish (something he wrote about in his essays). He also is not a legacy. My guess is that, with either of those two factors, he probably would not have been waitlisted.[/quote]
