I find your attitude is common in twenty and thirty somethings and they all feel that their parents are required to provide endless support and money even to adults, have zero expectations of respect, not ask any questions, and all while being the blame for all their problems and acting as their child's emotional dumping ground. You're wrong. I'm 50+ and have young adult kids myself. I really dislike people like you with an endless chip on their shoulder, everybody owes you their life and what not. They are often also those parents who are immature, with mental health issues and were never there to guide their kids. I repeat: nobody owes you anything. You'll figure that out when you cannot enforce it. If you don't want to pay for your kids' college, say that to them. They'll figure it out themselves. I did.
