You're wrong. I'm 50+ and have young adult kids myself. I really dislike people like you with an endless chip on their shoulder, everybody owes you their life and what not. They are often also those parents who are immature, with mental health issues and were never there to guide their kids. I repeat: nobody owes you anything. You'll figure that out when you cannot enforce it. If you don't want to pay for your kids' college, say that to them. They'll figure it out themselves. I did. I also left to another continent not to deal with mommy dearest. Good luck to your kids.
