And it is not clear that you are better off in the burbs.

For example, take a look at B-CC High in wealthy Bethesda.

Only 66% of kids are proficient in math there, which is about the same as Walls or BASIS DC.[/quote]

NP and this might be a bit off topic but if the only determinant of a school being good is the percent of kids not on FARMS then it really has nothing to do with the teachers or curriculum or anything but household income.  And are we saying FARMS kids can be proficient in math or English? [/quote]

Yes, aggregate proficiency data is mostly just a proxy for demographics. But I think the PP you’re quoting was clarifying the PPP’s characterization of B-CC as a “wealthy Bethesda” school. [/quote]
