How does the change in eating habits impact family meals for you all? Do you have children that see you eating tiny portions of food that may start to believe this is a normal way of eating?
I'm on Wegovy, 1.7 (the 2.4 was too much for me). I've lost 50lbs and have another 20-30 to go. It has 100% changed my eating habits. It's fantastic. My daughter, who is a tween and while she had a little she could lose was far from obese, has also dropped some weight. Nothing major, but her doctor noted it during her last appointment. She was 90th percentile for weight and is now 70th. She's eating so much healthier because DH and I area eating so much healthier. Our portions are not tiny by any means, they are appropriate. Dinner last night was roasted chicken with parmesan, spinach & garlic pasta and roasted zucchini. We just had a human being portion which left room for a little dessert. We love ice cream lol. It's all about balance. The 50lb loss has done wonders for my self esteem. I've started Pilates, which I've found I love! I'm getting stronger, my libido is back and I'm happier. It's improved my life in so many ways. If I stay on it forever I'm totally fine with that.
