I only feel that way when I'm on my period. You may not be quite up to the amount you need yet. Stay with it and try upping your water and starting meals/snacks with protein.

Same, on my period and it sucks

I'm 8:42 I should add my Wegovy this year is $25/month as they have a manufacturer coupon that is good for 13 months. Otherwise through my insurance it's about $300/month. We were spending that on take out and crap food easy before we started... We also have an HSA that we can use for it.

I'm on Wegovy, 1.7 (the 2.4 was too much for me). I've lost 50lbs and have another 20-30 to go. It has 100% changed my eating habits. It's fantastic. My daughter, who is a tween and while she had a little she could lose was far from obese, has also dropped some weight. Nothing major, but her doctor noted it during her last appointment. She was 90th percentile for weight and is now 70th. She's eating so much healthier because DH and I area eating so much healthier. Our portions are not tiny by any means, they are appropriate. Dinner last night was roasted chicken with parmesan, spinach & garlic pasta and roasted zucchini. We just had a human being portion which left room for a little dessert. We love ice cream lol. It's all about balance.

The 50lb loss has done wonders for my self esteem. I've started Pilates, which I've found I love! I'm getting stronger, my libido is back and I'm happier. It's improved my life in so many ways. If I stay on it forever I'm totally fine with that.

Really hope i continue to lose - I’ve got at least 20 pounds more to go.

My story is almost exactly the same. I used to think about food constantly whether I was hungry or not. Constantly thinking about what I get to eat next. Ending the food noise has been the biggest change for me.

I will say I’m nervous about maintenance when the time comes. Even though im paying for compounded instead of name brand out of pocket, I’m still not sure I want this expense for the rest of my life. I guess time will tell.

How much do you pay for the compounded shot?

DP I pay $250 per 6 weeks and will stay at the lowest dose because it's effective for me.

Oh wow, so $250 for 6 weeks is only $41.67 per shot? I thought the compounded version of the drug was more expensive than that.

It’s more expensive if you ramp up the dosage (as most do I think). The lowest dose has been effective for me so I’m sticking with it. It also keeps the cost down because the drug doesn’t neeed to be refilled as often.

Yes. I went from a 38 DD to a 34C. They're kinda deflated, but I don't really care. I have a waist again and I feel better.

Like PPs, a little more than $250 but that’s per month not 6 weeks. I think a lot of the services are increasing their subscription prices for new customers to see what the market will bear.

No. Most people who are dieting are thinking about food, calories, etc.

What it's most like is a person who is not dieting and is just enjoying food, but does not overeat or think about eating eating/calories/dieting constantly.

I understand that, I’m on semaglutides. The first quoted post seems to be implying that people taking these medications are modeling bad food behavior for their children by eating tiny portions. However if someone were dieting without the medication, they would be modeling the same behavior to their children - eating tiny portions at meals. The medication isn’t the bogeyman that the first PP is trying to make it out to be. The fact that there are people have to eat tiny portions to lose weight -with or without medication is the problem - the medication just makes it easier for many of those people.
