How does the change in eating habits impact family meals for you all? Do you have children that see you eating tiny portions of food that may start to believe this is a normal way of eating?
Isn’t this how someone who was dieting without medication would eat as well?
No. Most people who are dieting are thinking about food, calories, etc. What it's most like is a person who is not dieting and is just enjoying food, but does not overeat or think about eating eating/calories/dieting constantly.
I understand that, I’m on semaglutides. The first quoted post seems to be implying that people taking these medications are modeling bad food behavior for their children by eating tiny portions. However if someone were dieting without the medication, they would be modeling the same behavior to their children - eating tiny portions at meals. The medication isn’t the bogeyman that the first PP is trying to make it out to be. The fact that there are people have to eat tiny portions to lose weight -with or without medication is the problem - the medication just makes it easier for many of those people.
