How tall are your kids and how tall are you? I read somewhere that you can estimate how tall your kids final height by taking girls height at 2 and doubling it and boys height at 2.5 and doubling it. That would put my girls at 5’8” tall full grown. Not sure about my son but at 4 months old he was already 28”. DH is 5’9ish and I am 5’7. I am wondering if it’s possible DS will be over 6’ tall. He is right now huge. 5 months old, 21lbs and just about 30” and in 12-18 month clothes. We do have tall genes in our fall. My brother is over 6’ tall and some of DH’s uncles are well over 6’. Just curious.
DH is 6'6" and I am 5'9". DD1 was 23" at birth and 37" on her second birthday. She was similar to your son, wearing 12-18 months clothes before age 6 months. DS was 22.5" at birth and 38" at age two. He is now 48" at almost five. He is significantly taller than his preschool classmates. DD2 was 21" at birth and 35" on her second birthday. She's not nearly as big as DD1 was, but she's only four, so we will have to see how her growth continues. The pediatrician estimates that DD1 will be around 6'2" to 6'3", DS will be around 6'3 to 6'5", and DD2 will be around 5'10" or slightly taller.
