I think certain age groups and probably boys were affected the most. Yes, current players are absolutely being pushed out, down, or just not up (for top kids expected to move up). There’s also a few new coaches from other clubs who supposedly are “bringing kids over” with them, though I have not seen evidence of that yet.

No, the kids I know of who were moved down should not have been moved down “either way”. I think this implies that the kid deserved it cause they just weren’t good, or have parents who can’t see that. Ironically, the kids whom we thought *should* move down either way (including some we thought for sure would, cause they should have moved down last year!), didn’t.

Our kids were not moved down so we’re not biased from that perspective at least. But they have been teammates who definitely should not have been moved down, and certainly not moved down multiple levels. If you’re bringing in all these amazing outside players, then sure. But by now we have seen many of the ones under serious consideration, some of whom we know did end up getting offers. *None* were any better than the current team players. [/quote]
