And they all went to Basis except for one!
And it's Yu Ying's fault that they couldn't handle the challenges. Of course.
They went to Basis because they couldn't handle the challenges of Yu Ying? LMAO
Laugh away. A former Yu Ying parent made no secret of the fact that her special ed child wasn't a good fit and thus was moving to Basis.
Hm, that implies that YY is failing in their mandatory requirement to help SN students. If a child can survive at Basis with the proper help in six grade algebra and Latin, surely the same child can survive in YY with flighty no-book instruments. That is, provided the child was given proper help.
We have a SN child in a lower grade and could not be happier and I know other parents with SNs kids at YY who feel the same. The school works very hard at meeting the needs of SN kids and creating an inclusive environment. YY has a new program this year where the SN teachers visit the student's home early in the school year to help the child acclimate to them and get to know each other better. Also, the service providers have been great and very caring.
