I'm genuinely curious what the anti-WashU poster's deal is. There are places and colleges in America that I'm not wild about. But I can imagine having so much antipathy for a particular college to justify so many posts with such vigor. If OP wants to convince me not to have my kid apply to WashU, perhaps he/she can explain what WashU did to hurt him/her so badly. No sane person would otherwise do what he/she is doing on DCUM.

WashU hasn't yet released their ED info for this cycle or last year's cycle. But for 21/22, WashU ED admissions rate was 26%. (https://wustl.edu/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/wustl-cds-2022-2023.pdf). I doubt it jumped 14%, which is contrary to T30 trends. Notably, OP never responded to the post above.
