Only this week, my 6th grader was able to sign up for intensified 7th grade middle school classes in science, social studies and English. My current 8th grader didn't have the option of signing up for intensified 7th grade classes, other than for math, because they're being phased in. Looks to me like APS is adding gifted/rigor, at least at the middle school level.[/quote]
