The [b]money in aid goes from the US treasury to US defense contractors to build more arms that go into the US depot. The current arms in the US depot that are set to expire for non-use, will be sent to Ukraine for the Ukrainians to use against the Russians[/b]. OK, so federal tax revenues, derived in major part from the taxes remitted by U.S. taxpayers, are essentially converted into corporate welfare programs whereby Lockheed Martin shareholders and other defense contractor stakeholders in the U.S. military industrial complex are able to recognize a wealth transfer as our taxes are converted into their paychecks, profits, and retained earnings?

They are being paid to manufacture weapons. That isn't fraud, there is a contract. Fraud is when there are PPP loans given with no oversight to every tom dick and harry including members of congress and presidential cronies. BILLIONS given away in April 2020.[/quote]

Yeah, you're not going to get an objection to the PPP debacle from me. Preach on that, for sure.

But as to the welfare accusation, I disagree. We allow rampant lobbying, literally hundreds of millions spent to goose these weirdoes on Capitol Hill, so they can send billions that we don't have to a foreign country. That foreign country, in turn, spends parts of those billions with our defense contractors? How is that not taking taxpayer funding and redirecting it to the interests of the groups that lobbied for it? The ROI for the lobbyists is astronomical![/quote]
