Did your kid witness sharing and buying?  Or are getting riled you up with sensational stories from the rumor mill? 
Rather than focusing on what other kids are doing, engage in solving all the past year problems together. Have you taken this step? I assume not.  If you help your kid put in sustained effort, you'll likely find yourself less concerned about unfounded stories about others' kids. The effort you help your child invest is within your control, unlike the speculative information from rumors about what other kids may or may not be doing.  [/quote]
