This is awful. You should have spoken to her especially if one of your kids is shorter. I am the shortest (smallest and most attractive) person in DH’s large family of giants (women are all 5’10” and above and men are all above 6’). While they all love their heights and are very proud of their 12 year old 6’ girls, they have never said the things your MIL said to you.

You should have said that most men prefer smaller women to giants (that may not be true, but that would have shut MIL for good)[/quote]
