This. I don’t get it either. There are literal apps people pay money for to do this. This thread is weird.

One instance that comes to mind is the time I looked to see if he had already passed the grocery store on his way home from work, because I would have had him stop if he hadn’t, but didn’t want to bother his commute with a needless call. Yep. I routinely use it to help time dinner on the days DH goes into the office. My kids also often have substitute bus drivers who screw up the route and delay their getting home. Or when my kids walk to get ice cream with their friends and I want to check if they made it safely. FWIW, I do think DH makes work take longer (both in his home office and at his physical office) to avoid having to help with dinner or drive a kid to an activity. But he just uses "something came up at work" or "I have to turn this document before I leave" or stuff like that. He is definitely a procrastinator and a time waster. [/quote]
