[/quote] This thread is also a way to reassure parents that applying to college doesn't have to be a source of nonstop conflict and anxiety. There are a ton of posts elsewhere about parents battling their kids over applications, and some of them probably enjoy complaining about it. Years ago, one parent posted about filling out her daughter's applications. For a lot of us, there's another way, and it minimizes friction while maximizing natural consequences. [/quote] Yep, agree!
