What is shown on the website as the starting price, and what the out the door price is (before taxes and tags) are two different numbers. Half of those starting prices are unattainable as car manufacturers are making less base model cars these days.  [/quote]

You can easily drive off the lot with a Mazda, Kia, or Hyundai for under $30k.  Of course you’ll probably have 100000 excuses for why you don’t want to buy one of those cars instead before you’ll ever admit you’re trying to keep up with the Jonses, you care about your image, and you want to spend more on stupid bells and whistles.
