You are trying to spin.  And, failing completely.

During the debate here are his exact words:

“I would in fact make sure that there is, that we immediately surge to the border — all those people are seeking asylum. They deserve to be heard,” Biden said. “That’s who we are. We’re a nation that says, ‘If you want to flee and you’re fleeing oppression, you should come.’ “[/quote]

I’ve watched it. It’s clear he’s jumbling talking points. And he is clearly specifically talking about asylum seekers. Which most entering through Mexico are not. Try again. [/quote]

South Americans and people from the Guatemala and El  Salvador have learned to claim asylum. It doesn't matter if they are qualified or not, just that they make the claim [/quote]
