There's no constitutional right to a health procedure so a state if it finds compelling reasons could ban any medical procedure - hell, even hair dyeing -- if it decides to, right? [/quote] It would be stupid, but yes a state could ban organ transplants or hair dyeing under the 10th Amendment. The state could also ban alcohol, although the federal government can't under the 21st amendment. If the state's citizens don't like it, they can vote out their elected state officials who supported it.[/quote]
