What appears certain from this discussion is there is a widening achievement gap between Asian American and everyone else. We should be delighted that Asian Americans are doing so well and try to raise the achievement of everyone (including Asians) to a high bar. How does removing the math pathways for any children achieve this goal? It doesn't. Unfortunately, I think waiting will be too late if you have children MCPS. If you don't I guess you can wait with low risk.[/quote]
