Second, it isn't punishment for one infraction, like the punch you mention, it is punishment for repeatedly talking in line, and not listening when the teacher told them to stop. Third, it will, in the teacher's opinion, eliminate the problem by removing the temptation to talk. It's perfectly fine, and you are doing your kid no favors with your attitude. [/quote]
