At least six 8th graders from our k-8 got in and at least one did not (but that child has a rocky discipline record). Otoh, our k-8 has a very good relationship with SSSAS and usually sends multiple kids every year. But we were also told that the number of applications were up, at least for 9th, so we didn’t know what to expect before decision day. [/quote]
