So if someone is willing to teach (hopefully well) only for as long as their child is there, then that's actually a decent tenure. Also, teachers with children at the school tend to care more about ensuring that the school is a good place to be. It's the dinosaurs who hold on with zero connection but the paycheck because they can't get a job elsewhere, that are the biggest threats.[/quote]
