Your statement here reduces the agency of adults to children. Young adults have enough agency to sign up for the military and be trained to kill other people. Yet those same young adults lack the agency to engage in a consensual relationship with another, older adult? That position is absurd.  [/quote]

The current trend is to think of people younger than 25 as not fully having the agency of an adult. I think your view is going to look outdated and gross in the coming decades. [/quote]
