Last time I checked, the water supply in Arlington is in no way attached to the water supply of any city in Mississippi. And Jackson Mississippi isn't suffering from a water shortage, it's suffering from government mismanagement of its infrastructure. My taking a long shower makes no difference to their situation. We don't live on a submarine, either. Your dad's experience as a submariner isn't relevant to those of us living in areas where there's plenty of water (and sometimes too much, when we get flooding).

I'm not trying to justify it (my showers tend to be at least 15 minutes), because I don't feel bad about taking a long, hot shower in the morning and one at night.

I just find it strange that some people think you can "waste" water when you live somewhere like the east coast of the US, where water shortages aren't an issue. [/quote]
