No idea. MCPS is a dark box with no transparency now a days. do you know if Virtual Academy will have classes next school year? Some on DCUM say that MCPS may shutdown the VA.
When will MCPS send out Virtual Academy information? 
How do you know what is the status of your application? 
When will you know whether your child is accepted or not? 
What criteria do MCPS uses to accept or reject the Virtual Academy applications?

There are 100's of questions but no answers.

Yes, VA is happening next year.  The course guide and other information are on the website.  Why are you listening to someone who is saying it will shut down on DCUM when its not true if you follow what is going on, especially the BOE meetings.  Its just a bitter, nasty person who likes to cause drama.

No schools have scheduled orientation or provided any school year information.

The website is not obsolete.  No schools update their websites over the summer and there is really no information to give.  Usually the only thing schools update is school supply information and you really don't need much with VA.  I cannot imagine the orientation, videos or newsletter will look that different from last year.

Resubmit your application and call them.  I know they answer the phone as I've called.  They don't always answer email but that's pretty common at any school.  Last year they sent us an email with the acceptance.  [/quote]
