Just because kids are not expressing their disapproval in a way that makes sense to you does not mean that you (or anyone else) have carte blanche to impose whatever rules you want on them, particularly when those rules are not justified by the evidence or public health guidance. As adults, we have the responsibility to make sound decisions in the best interest of our kids, not to subject them to our irrational fears. It’s time to make masks in schools optional.[/quote]
