It has no basis in science or medicine and has never, in a controlled study, been shown to provide any benefit. It has been shown to cause harm. [/quote] Some doctors recommend cupping and acupuncture for some conditions and its pretty mainstream here. One could argue those have no benefit either. Acupuncture had no benefit to me but cupping did. [/quote]
