Cars may jump sidewalks if hit in an accident, but they don't jump the curb to ride down the sidewalk the way ATV riders do.  Cars typically do not block multiple lanes of traffic the way ATV riders do.  Sounds like you haven't actually encountered ATV riders if you somehow think they are a safe alternative. [/quote]

The question isn't, is it dangerous to ride an ATV in a built-up area? The question is, what poses by far the most danger to road users in the area? And the answer is: drivers of cars.

Why can’t people do something for fun?  They live in adC and want to drive ATV for fun.  That’s it.  If you don’t like it, stay in your home or move.  It is your city but it’s also their city.[/quote]

There are legal ways to have fun. I assume part of the fun is breaking the law. I think it's fun to break the speed limit. If you don't like it, stay in your home or move.[/quote]
