Why don't we compile a list of boys who are awarded full athletic scholarships? These are the true elite not just players who found a team to extend their pay to play careers. Before all the village idiots jump in and say how Just playing is a huge deal. I totally agree but the top of the top should be recognized for getting awarded a full ride. Colleges are full of players who are in essence pay to play. Sure they have to be able to play at that level, but there like every other college player.
Where do you suppose you’ll find the information about scholarship amounts? I know of no source that publishes this. I’m not sharing info, even on an anonymous forum, about where my kid plays or what his scholarship amount is. I hope no one else would either given all the stalkers and vultures on here. I’m also not sure the info would be as meaningful as you think. I know several kids who received full ride offers at one or two schools, but turned them down for less money at schools that are more highly ranked academically. As RSD mentioned above, the admissions boost is often the goal for people around here, many of whom are wealthy enough that scholarship amounts won’t play any part in their decision (other than to get a sense of how much playing time their kid can expect). The small slice of people who care about this world have a good sense of who the top youth players are, and their assessments are not going to change according to how much scholarship $$ kids receive. Once they are actually playing in college, it is also not difficult to see who the stars are.
